The Lavery Culinary Group is a combination of unique perspectives, industry experience, and inter-generational insights. Uncle and Nephew, Bryan and Nick Lavery have teamed up to bring their knowledge of media, marketing, photography and filmmaking to all things culinary.

Bryan Lavery

Bryan Lavery enjoys a respected position amongst thousands of readers, and hundreds of restauranteurs and food producers across Ontario and specifically in the Toronto, London, Stratford, Kitchener and Waterloo regions. He has been telling the stories of restaurateurs, chefs, farmers and producers in Ontario since 2007.  Previously he was a restaurateur and event planner. He has built a loyal following who appreciates his expertise and knowledgeable writing emphasizing the values of the farm to table food movements, culinary and agri-tourism, seasonal producers and appreciating food as culture.

In addition to his work with the Lavery Culinary Group Bryan Lavery is eatdrink magazine’ “Food Editor” and Writer at Large and co-creator of London’s Local Flavour Culinary Guide. Lavery brings a professional familiarity to the region, and a solid reputation as a champion of culinary, agri-tourism and experiential tourism. 

Nick Lavery

Creative Director Nick Lavery is a proud millennial. He has been operating his video production and marketing company, Take5 Digital, since graduating from high school in 2012. In that time he has traveled to Europe, Mexico and South America. In Canada he has been as far west as Vancouver and as far east as Prince Edward Island to ply his craft, but has always called Southwestern Ontario home.

Nick’s growing client list includes businesses from the culinary field, tourism and  financial sectors, not-for-profits, charitable organizations and health and fitness studios.

In August of 2018, Nick travelled to the Netherlands to present at CISV’s Global Conference for non-profits on “How and Why Non-Profits Tell Their Story With Video”. There, Nick addressed non-profit employees and volunteers from over 100 countries.

An avid traveler, Nick always enjoys sampling local cuisine while abroad. From street tacos in Mexico City to haute cuisine of Paris, Nick is always on the lookout for the next food and drink trend.
